Wow!  Sometimes we get so busy helping our clients that we forget to stop and take a minute and track our own progress!  Every year we go over our goals and objectives, marketing plan and strategies, and then mid-year, we give ourselves a report card.  Well, this year has kept us all very busy....many of you know that we added another team member this year.  Almost every time I go on a listing appointment, the sellers will ask me, "Are you more of a Listing Agent or a Buyer's Agent"?  That question is a tough one.  I have lived in Pearland a long, long time.  I keep up with what's going on in Pearland, the market trends, the appreciation of our homes, help residents fight tax appraisals.....  I worked many years for an engineering company and then for an environmental lab, so my thought processes are analytical and methodical.  In fact, www.PearlandHomes.com was probably the first Pearland real estate website.....I bought it in 1999.  I did not know how I was going to use it, but I could see the trend.  So, as you can tell, I spend a lot of time, training and money to be a Listing Agent.  But, guess what?  If you look at the production numbers, they are almost consistently 50/50 every year!  The marketing that we do, especially the internet, is bringing buyers in!  No wonder, we are expanding our team....we knew we were busy!

I'd like to take a minute to introduce you to the TEAM!

Virginia Szopa - I have worked with Virginia since 1990.  She has a great work ethic and is smart as a whip!  She doesn't miss a detail, is very disciplined  and loves working with buyers.  Virginia lives in Clear Lake and works the Clear Lake, Friendswood and Pearland markets.

Misti Warfield - Misti is my daughter-in-law and my right hand!  In fact, she is my listing coordinator, stager, photographer and transaction coordinator!  I couldn't have asked for a better assistant!  Her own client base is growing....what will I do when she's too busy to help me?  And, thanks to all of you who have given Misti such nice compliments - we appreciate it!  Misti lives in Pearland and works primarily in the Pearland area.

Lisa Crespo - Lisa is our newest member to the Team!  She came on board this year with several clients ready to buy!  Lisa knows almost everyone in Friendswood....and is a lifelong resident of the Friendswood/Pearland area.  Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and information about Friendswood to the team and works primarily in the Friendswood, Southbelt and Pearland areas.

I bring all this up because a fellow agent called last week to congratulate me on my award from the Houston Association of Realtors.   I hated to admit it, but I had not even looked at this report........all year long!  It looks like our team has garnered these awards out of 25,000 Brokers and Agents in the Houston Board:
