-HCA and Memorial Herman's 80,000 sq.ft medical facilities are now open.
-Buc-ee's should be opening within the next month or so
-In addition to the optometrist, UPS store, and nail salon in the new shopping center on Shadow Creek Pkwy, a Quizno's will be coming soon
-The shopping center on the SE corner of Shadow Creek Pkwy and Reflection Bay will include Times Square Games, a pediatric dentist, an orthodontist, a children's party place, Lenny's Deli, a workout facility, a coffee shop, and a nail salon. Tenants should be moving in as soon as the building is completed, which should be late this month or early April.
-The Hilton Garden Inn will begin construction on the NE corner of Reflection Bay and SC Pkwy. It will include 137 rooms plus 11,000 sq ft of conference facilities.
-The Promenade on 288, which is anchored by the Bass Pro Shop, is expected to open late 2007 (probably just before the holidays). They are still seeking other tenants. The facility may also include residential and office space as well as retail.
-Strohaul Tires has been purchased, and they are to vacate by July 31. A Kroger shopping center is slated to be built in its place.
-The Pearland Town Center, which is currently under construction on the NW corner of 288 and 518 will include HEB, Hobby Lobby, Academy, McAlister's Deli, La Madeleine, Taco Cabana, Candelari's Pizza, a furniture store, Lupe Tortilla, Pei Wei, Compass Bank, and Wachovia Bank
—On the SW corner of 288 and 518, the Pearland Town Center is being built and should open in late 2008. Confirmed tenants include Dillards, Macys, Barnes & Noble, Chicos, Victoria's Secret, Williams Sonoma, Ann Taylor Loft, Bath & Body Works, White House/Black Market, Coldwater Creek, Eddie Bauer, Hollister, Courtyard by Marriott, and more. The center will also include office space and loft-style residential space.
—518 is being expanded to six lanes between 288 and Kirby, and four lanes between Kirby and Kingsley. 518 will eventually connect to 521 as well.
—Proposed use for the land on the NW corner of Kirby and 518 includes pad sites for restaurants and banks, retail space for shops not able to get into the Pearland Town Center, and a seniors graduated living facility.
